The Best Antique Show

Widely considered the best antique show in the world, the International Fine Art and Antique Dealers Show opens in New York on October 17th.

The International Show is considered to be the best for several reasons. First, it brings together dealers who are considered to be the best in their respective fields. The dealers have long lists of museum clients as well as high profile collectors. A museum client is possibly the most highly regarded reference in the antiques trade, and the dealers at the International Show work with the best museums worldwide. Second, the show is beautifully exhibited from both the management and the dealers. It is absolutely top notch, and the theme of the show is always represented in an exhibit at the forefront of the show. Third, it is one of the few shows worldwide that is vetted. This vetting process not only eliminates most dealers in the world due to questionable or inferior goods, but it also eliminates anything on the show floor that might be of question. In other words: this show is a tough one to get into from a dealer perspective and they constantly monitor and maintain their standards. What you see will absolutely represent the best of the best.

The show benefits Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Opening Night is Thursday, October 16th. Expect to pay at least $500. for the latest ticket admission on Opening Night, or choose to go between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, October 17th through October 23rd for $10.
The show is at the wonderful Park Avenue Armory at 67th Street.
