Art Deco Peter Rabbit

Peter Rabbit is one of the most renowned creations in the history of children's literature. When a library in upstate New York was recently remodeled, the paintings created in the 1940s for the children's department became available. These huge paintings of Peter Rabbit and his family are a 20th century interpretation of the marvelous works of Beatrix Potter. They will be offered on One Kings Lane this week. Regardless of age or design inclination, it's hard to resist the impetuousness, determination, and beguiling charm of Peter Rabbit.
