An Inspiring Task

I've always wanted to have the coveted job of naming paint colors. It's hard to fathom that someone gets paid to sit around and create names such as "Back of the Barn Door" or "Ferret Tail" for shades otherwise described as muddy brown. However, I am constantly aware of the places from which all of the beautiful colors derive: nature. Looking down into the ocean, the soothing palate ranging from the palest blue to a deep rich green could be mistaken for a contemporary painting. As you make your way through the day, take in the magnificent array of hues surrounding you. From the bold to the subtle, those colors will stimulate or calm you, and if you take just a moment to consider them, they might just entertain you with the names they inspire.
