Picasso

Picasso, like most renowned creative people, was as well broad-ranged in genres and mediums as he was in social and political views. Mastering both painting and sculpture, Picasso worked in a broad range of mediums spanning decades and geographical locations. Paper, canvas, oils, bronze, plaster, ceramics were all frequently used throughout his long and varied career. While his paintings can be difficult and seem tortured, his sculptures are accessible - even if they too have hidden meanings. A brilliantly creative mind lurks only slightly beneath and behind every work by this fascinating artist.
